        activati cu ioni de Cu  , Ag , Au , Mn  ,Pb  ,Sn  ,Sb
        sau ioni de lantanoide.</pre>
<pre>        ZnS (Sulfura de zinc)

        Se afla in natura sub forma de blenda. Se obtine sub forma unui
precipitat alb prin introducerea unui curent de hidrogen sulfurat in solutia
unei sari de zinc:</pre>
<pre>                        ZnCl2  +  H2S ---&gt;ZnS  +  2HCl</pre>
<pre>Daca precipitatul contine mici cantitati de Cu sau Mn (metale grele in general)
se obtine sulfura de Zn fosforescenta (blenda sidot), intrebuintata ca ecran
pentru radiatii X si radioactive sub influenat carora devine fluorescenta.</pre>

BeS, SrS, BaS   -fluorescenta albastra  (Radiatii catodice)
MgS             -fluorescenta rosie     (Radiatii catodice)</pre>
<pre>        Se pot folosi si activatorii (Ce, Sm).</pre>
<pre>ZnS     -proprietati luminescente (raze X, catodice, à)
         (in ameste cu CdS da fluorescenta sau fosforescenta galbena-rosie)
CdS     -proprietati fluorescente si luminescente.</pre>

<pre>        Oxizii de strontiu, bariu, zinc, dupa un tratament adecvat prezinta
luminescenta galbena sub actiunea radiatiilor UV.</pre>
<pre>Sub actiunea razelor catodice prezinta fosforescenta:
        CaO     galben-portocalie
        SrO     albastra</pre>
<pre>Sub actiunea razelor X, BaO devine fosforescent.</pre>
<pre>        Pentoxidul de fosfor
        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(P4O10), se formeaza prin arderea P intr-un
exces de aer sau prin arderea trioxidului de fosfor:</pre>
<pre>        P4  +  5O2  ---&gt; P4O10  +    716,8 kcal</pre>
<pre>              70øC
        P4O6 -----&gt; P8O16  ----&gt; P4O10  (lent cu luminescenta)
              +2O2
        Este cristalin, alb ca zapada si sublimeaza la 250øC. Devine
fosforescent prin iluminare emitind o lumina verzuie.</pre>
